The Webley Moustache Club! Fodder with Black Powder weapons
Eyes in the Fields
These are like 90% done, just need to add some discolouration to everything for that Turnip28 grungy feel.
Otherwise, happy with the whole eyes poking out of the wheat fields look. Might add some little greebly bits on as well for some more variety.
In progress for some farmland terrain I'm building. Should be good for a few games - specifically AoS and Turnip28 - and is some wheat fields filled with eyes, some simple fences, and a ruined barn structure.
First game of Turnip28 today with @nerdyogre. A solid game that I want to play again, but my god the dice decided they wanted my ass, and so I wasn't keen for another afterwards.
Highlights:
Both our Chaff units decided to go out in the exact same way. 1 dead from Dangerous Terrain and the other 3 dying by eating each other. Funny.
The Stump Gun managed to kill 2/3 of my Brutes in the Preliminary Bombardment. Far less funny. They then lost the Toady and one of the two remaining Brutes to Dangerous terrain for the objective.
Testing the two methods of doing comic book style.
The first one (Reaper USA Cairn Wraith) is prime in white, then do the black lines, then use contrast paints to fill in the colour.
The second one (Reaper USA Sister Hazel) is prime in white, then paint the base colours, then do the black lines.
Very obvious winner is number two. The black lines stay black and don't get reactivated making the whole thing grimey.
So unlike me to use... brushes.
...but I wanted to try this style for a while after I used a bust the last time.
Time for some colour.

Milotic Ex as my next shadowbox attempt. Definitely getting better with them, even using foam tape for some extra stability on the head.
Du-du-du-DUUUUUUUH!
Need to black out the bases and do a matte spray across them, but they are basically done
And lo, a new painting stuck has risen.
Flashpoint models, baybee. Super fun game and the models are lovely.
Previously, you've mentioned that Transformers include cards that have an ability like the Transform keyword action, in addition to Transformers UB cards that are the Transformers type.
I've been looking for something to do with my Grimlock, and need some clarification.
Do Incubate tokens count as being Transformers once they've become the creature?
Yes. They transform.
Second go at the ol' shadowbox. This time, I used a black ink to minimise the appearance of the cut edges, and went with two spacers instead of just one.
I like it. Came out quite well
Trying out some shadowbox cards. First one came out pretty good
No better way to spend an Easter pubhol than with than losing on your own terms.
(Plasma grenades are fun)
Hell yeah.
Second game against angry Ronny was a stomp.
Turns out when you are used to get your shit pushed in by melee armies, you become quite practiced at dealing with them.
