The crispy jacket potatoes and perfectly roasted chicken in a halogen oven go well together in this recipe. That's an easy and tasty meal that will definitely please your taste buds.
Ingredients: 4 large russet potatoes. 4 chicken leg quarters. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 1 teaspoon salt. 1/2 teaspoon black pepper. 1/2 teaspoon paprika. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder. 1/2 teaspoon onion powder. Fresh rosemary sprigs optional.
Instructions: Get your halogen oven ready by heating it up to 400F 200C. Scrub the potatoes really well, and then use a paper towel to dry them. Use a fork to poke several holes in each potato to let the steam escape while they're cooking. Add salt and rub the potatoes with olive oil. Season the chicken leg quarters with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder, then put them on a separate tray. For extra flavor, you can add fresh rosemary sprigs if you want to. Set the timer for 30 minutes and put the trays in the halogen oven. Slowly flip the chicken and potatoes after 30 minutes to make sure they cook all the way through. Hold the chicken in the oven for another 25 to 30 minutes, or until the potatoes are golden brown and the chicken reaches 165F 74C inside. Serve hot, and if you want, add more salt and pepper to the top.
