I'm so enamored with creative temperature/weather tracking like this. Data visualization like this is so scientifically important, and doing something cute and fun like this makes it really inclusive, inviting a lot more people to do it for a variety of reasons--from getting more familiar with the weather in their area to building scientific literacy, to practice doing something every single day for a year.

Unfortunately, with everything I constantly have going on creatively, myself personally, I think I would just get all the data at the start of the next year and then I could just make the whole calendar at once, rather than over the course of the year.

Also unfortunate that one of the biggest reasons it's interesting to me is, it really is a visualization of climate change. It's really tempting to pick a completely random area and go back as far as NOAA has the data available, or maybe.......go through newspapers? Just to build a year beside year, decade beside decade visualization.

I'm actually a little scared of what I might see.......
