I started making the Sam bracelet, then figured I should make a Dean to match. That lead to also making a Cas bracelet for the full set :)

I had a hard time finding definitive color palettes that were unique to each character (that didn't overlap a whole ton). Sam and Dean wear very similar clothes in similar colors so I kinda hit a road block with that. Then I saw these photos and got the idea to switch to eye color!
I found them on Pinterest uploaded by two different people without any linkbacks so I'm not sure where they come from :(
I couldn't find one for Cas so I colorpicked from this image of Misha's eyes (That's where I got the purples from even tho no one has purple eyes (no Alexandria's genesis for Cas D: )). Here's the colorpicker website if that's useful for you :)
I wanted to have something match across all three so I kept the same light and dark browns in the same spot across all bracelets. It's prolly seen the best in the fourth overall photo.
Somehow (prolly by making the knots too tight) the Dean bracelet ended up a lot shorter than the Sam bracelet (fifth photo) which I think is meta funny.
My favorite is the Sam bracelet. I've been wanting to make a bracelet with browns/blues/greens for a while now but couldn't find the right pattern I wanted to use them in till now. It definitely has the most flaws (construction wise). I have never done this pattern before and I was my first shaped bracelet. So a lot of the diamonds look more like kites.
If I could change anything I'd switch the light purple and light blue and use a very dark purple instead of the medium purple in Cas's. I couldn't find the right dark purple at the craft store so I went with one I thought matched I color scheme the best. It's my second favorite bracelet. Mostly because I reallyyyyyy like the color scheme but that medium purple just isn't quite Cas to me.
Dean's is my third favorite. ig my least favorite but that makes it sound like I don't like it at all. I had the same issue with with Dean's like I did Cas's. I couldn't find the right pickley (?) yellow and ended up using a neony yellow in the first two diamonds. That yellow makes it stand out weirdly against Sam and Cas. I've never made a bracelet with a similar color palette so I think I just need to get used to seeing it with the others. I'll definitely will wear all the bracelets together so I think I'll grow into it.
Overall this whole project took me about three days (one day a bracelet ish). I'm not exactly sure how much it cost because I used thread I got from the thrift store (in bulk) and craft store but my estimate is $3.50 USD for all bracelets. I used pattern #61157 from bracelet book. I linked to the Sam variation I uploaded (if the Dean and Cas variations get approved I'll link those). While working I watched the second half of season five and first half of season six :)
PS: I'm watching for the first time so I'm not sure if I've said something incorrect about supernatural (ESPECIALLY about the color palette) I just don't have the overall knowledge yet. Hopefully I will soon, I'm trying to finish before the end of summer. Wish me luck :D

This one is a real doozy--and the minor changes I made to the pattern were really nothing by comparison. I think this is the largest project by string count that I've done so far, and honestly, I'm not sure I have the guts to try anything bigger
