WHAT ON EARTH ARE BLADENSBURG SPORTS?

So this document from the National Archives mentions how the 2nd Batt. of the King's Shropshire Light Infantry held 'Bladensburg' sports, but I haven't got the foggiest about what those are, and I can't find any information about it. I want to think this is some sort of football or rugby event, but I wonder if anyone here has a better guess.

Does anyone know what’s going on with my glitchy, seemingly haunted house? It’s starting to look like it’s possessed by a ghost who is really bad at feng shui! The doors + the windows are semi transparent and to make it extra spooky poopy they move around with each load.

edit: Ohhhh think I figured it out the second I posted this. Is it because I recycled a festival lot? It was already an empty lot I simply turned into a residental, but I’m guessing there’s a festival marker somewhere?
