These are vintage sewing patterns from the 70s! I used to make halter tips and skirts from patterns for myself ALL THE TIME! I only used Simplicity patterns because they were the cheapest. I couldn’t afford McCall’s or Vogue on my $1.25 per hour salary from Sears in the Gentilly Woods Mall in New Orleans at age 15! I met my husband in , @joey_campo_1977 in one of my homemade halters. It was little sailboats on royal blue jersey. I used to buy 1/4 yard of fabric and cut it into a triangle, fold it over and run a string through the neck and the bottom like the green one here. Then I’d buy another 1/4 yard of terry cloth (I was very small, lol) and make a sizzle skirt with a pull waist. ( very short mini skirt). These hair dos are all wrong though, we all had long hair in our teen, mine was so long I sat on it! #1970s #1970sfashion #sewing #sewingpatterns #haltertops https://www.instagram.com/p/CoXqjQRJT5Y/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
