This is my review on #googlemaps for @bestfriendsanimalsociety in #bentonvillearkansas If you haven’t been there, you are really missing out! I posted over 60 photos on Google Maps so check it out! “The Best Friends Animal Society is an interactive, educational, community hub for learning about animals. fostering caring skills as well as placing them in loving homes. I visited the center to donate some toys for the animals, soon to be someone’s pets I hope, and was beyond impressed! This modern, spotless, upscale “animal shelter” looks like a decadent pet spa. But make no mistake, the animals inside this no kill facility are in desperate need of homes. The staff greet you with friendly smiles and are more than willing to give you a tour of the multi level, glass window buildings with eduction rooms, craft volunteer tables, art structures- you really have to see it to believe it! There’s even a coffee and pastry shop as well as little gift store area! And ALL of this is to benefit the animals. A large enclosed outdoor play area for the dogs to romp is so nice. I saw staff playing with two Great Pyrenees. There aren’t traditional cages, but indoor air conditioned glass walled enclosures. And the cat area had little bubbles for them to roost. Visit as soon as you can and pick up your new best friend.
