[Writing is] about getting inside the skin of your characters, and seeing where they are, and knowing how they've grown up. You have to know all this in your bones, what they've come up against, who they are. And then you just start talking as them. And you write until the rust comes out of the faucet and it's clear water. And you write down the clear water, the stuff that feels true. #Ham4Pamphlet: 45 Illustrators Draw the 46 Tracks of "Hamilton"

#Ham4Pamphlet is a collaborative illustration project I organized as a gift to the cast of Hamilton after being invited backstage. I asked 45 illustrators to draw the 46 tracks of the Hamilton cast recording and printed them in limited edition art books—or "pamphlets"—for the cast and crew. You can see pics of the book and the cast via Storify! (Thanks Laur.)

Below is a gallery of all the work created for the pamphlet! While I won't be printing or selling the books to the general public, feel free to check out and support each of these amazing artists' work!
