As someone binge reading Shadow and Bone fanfics, learned something bout Russian nick names.
The nickname for Alexander is 'Sasha'.
So Alexander Hamilton will be called Sasha in Russian.
That's it that's the post.

Why I love Lin as Hamilton
I haven’t seen anyone mention this before so I wanted to put it out there
Lin being an untrained singer isn’t what’s traditional to see on Broadway but it’s perfect for the role of Hamilton. Hamilton, as we all know was a bit rough around the edges so portraying Hamilton with an actor who’s voice is perfectly tuned and trained wouldn’t be as accurate a representation of the character.
I think Lin’s voice was an amazing choice to express Hamilton’s personality, that and it’s so soothing to me
So I saw you answering one question and saying that Philip was fighting in a duel for his own honor not his father’s but if talking about musical, it states that he was going to a duel to fight for his father’s honor. Does that mean that in musical Philip’s death actually is Hamilton’s fault?
The musical does depart from history on this point, and I think you have a very good argument that Hamilton is to blame for Philip’s death in the musical: “Take my guns, make me proud son” is pretty damning. LMMs recent comment regarding the moment of Philip’s death speaks to this in such a beautiful and heartbreaking way:

The line "You published the letters she wrote you" is the equivalent of today's "You seriously posted receipts on your private insta"
