Hillary Clinton's U.S. popular vote lead sits at 2,833,220, or 48.3%, three days before the Hamilton Electors choose to validate America's true greatness, or not. Clinton's 48.3% statistically surpasses Trump's 46.2% of the vote by 2.1%. When combined with the 5.5% who voted for 3rd party candidates, her opponent's pre-emptive claim to the job becomes even less viable. In other words, 53.8% of Americans voted against Trump. Most significantly, Clinton's statistical lag is a bare sliver in the three states that tilt ever so slightly in his favor at the electoral level, meaning that the two main candidates broke roughly even in Michigan (47%/48%/5%), Pennsylvania (48%/48%/4%), and Wisconsin (46%/47%/2%). There was no decisive victory for Trump in any sense, whereas Clinton's popular vote lead is pretty huge, especially considering the obstacles she faced. She won. Go, Hillary. May the Electors carpe diem with their once in a lifetime chance to prove their substance.
