act V scene II
(i had a very tiring but fulfilling day in Rome, but there's still time for some hamlet&horatio stuff)
Since the life that I am living as of current is unfavorable, I have started daydreaming about other ways my story might have played out.
Look upon the Hamletverse!
Hamlet as a duck who is fed bread by an ignorant child, grows a stomach infection and dies at the ripe old age of 3
Hamlet as a leathermaking apprentice who is abducted by pirates, works his way up to the rank of captain, and plunders from treasuries and gives back to poverty-stricken towns.
Hamlet as a peasant who steals a loaf of bread, is sentenced to 7 years in the chain gang and takes care of an orphaned daughter upon his release.
Hamlet as a bastard son of a whore and a Scotsman dropped in th’ middle of a forgotten spot in the Caribbean by providence impoverished and squalor - grows up to be a hero and a scholar.
Hamlet as a lovestricken soldier who earns a fortune through bootlegging and throws lavish parties in hopes that his love will show up one day.
Hamlet as a hardworking student who is bitt’n by a spider of black magic and becomes a sort of arachnid-man ; fights goblins.
On second thought - all of these versions of me sound awful. I think I shall stick to this miserable life now seeing as how it cannot get any worse than this.
