Bookvest - Free Knitting Chart

I made this Bookvest based on the cover of the Penguin Classics – for one of my favourite works, “Hamlet”. It was a total hit when wearing it at a yarn event, and a book event. If you would like to make your own, I figured I would share the chart. I haven’t written down the pattern for the vest, but you can adapt the chart to fit within any of your favourite vest patterns.

“I’m pretty sure that my wife debriefs your girlfriend over brunch,” Joker stubs his cigarette on a brick wall so stray ashes don’t strike Lilac in the face. The infant’s in a pale pink leopard print basket dressed in a chicken onesie. Sparse blonde strands poke out from the costume’s hood. Springtime doesn’t mean anything in Gotham aside from the child’s wardrobe change. The Bay’s bite is relentless. Joker braces for the next gust, lifts the carrier higher like one of the dog-sized rats skittering about may fight him for the infant — they do — and gives his attire a once-over. Come to think of it… 

“If that’s what you call her,” it’d be easier to just say ‘Mia’ and avoid the label, though he keeps an eye out in case she’s there on her off-hours. “Happen to have any idea what she does? Nixie never likes to tell me when legions from the underworld are trying to waste her.”

LISTEN, it’s me. I have admired you since I followed you on your other blog(s). It never fails to amaze me how your style can change to fit the muse you write. It is so on point, and each blog is (was) unique.

I can feel now the sheer care you have for Jackson, and I love to read your writing and your portrayal, canon or not.

You are someone I will follow across blogs even if I do not know the muse or the show / book.

And wow, you are one of the most down-to-earth, nicest and most gorgeous people I know alright?!? You kick ass Selena, I love you and I hope the rest of 2021 will be good to you.
