Hammonds Spiral S’mores Lollipops
I was very excited to try these. I’ve never had a s’mores-flavored lollypop before, nor have I ever had a spiral shaped one. My first issue with the lollipop was how to eat it. Being an adult, eating a lollipop like this WITHOUT it looking suggestive is extremely difficult. I had to eat it in private so no one would see how stupid I looked eating it. Another issue I had was that it melts. Yes, the lollipop begins to melt once you start eating it. It is very sticky and makes a huge mess. I ended up throwing it away halfway through.
Taste: 3/5 I don’t know any other way to say it, but it just tastes like candy. The white has more of a vanilla/marshmallow taste, and the brown is supposed to be chocolate. The chocolate dissolves very quickly, so most of the flavor comes from the white part. It doesn’t taste bad, not at all… It just tastes very one-note for something that is supposed to taste like S’mores
Value: 0/5 These were $1.99 EACH. I couldn’t even finish half of one. There’s not even a way to save it for later because it melts!
S’more Rating: 1/5 I’m being generous with this rating because of the marshmallow candy. The chocolate candy was practically devoid of chocolate flavor and there is absolutely no graham flavor at all.
Overall: 1/5 I would highly suggest NOT picking these up. It’s awkward to eat them as an adult, and too messy for a child.
Uneven (i.e. rustickly artisan?) chunks of toffee and peanut. Didn’t really taste like caramel apple.
