Homestuck was never about the end for me, it was about the journey. This fandom saw me through some of my hardest times, and it showed me what fans could do when they put their mind to it. Never before and probably never again have I ever been so invested in something not because of the canon comic, but because of the worlds the fandom created, and all the meet ups and events that went with them.
