76 days to go!
We have entered double-digits in our countdown to the big day and we couldn't be more excited!!! We have found a home (THANK GOD!) and Ryan is already moving his things in. It's about an hour away from where I live now, so my move-in process will go a little slower than his.
The invitations have been ordered (we are so behind on this and we apologize for that) and we hope to send them out this week! Also, we're going to put a deposit down on our florist this week and I'm very excited about that!
We ask that you continue to pray for us as we continue our planning! God has blessed so much thus far and we know that He will continue to bless us as long as our faith resides in Him.
We love each and every one of you and we cannot wait to share our big day with you
9 Short Months 'til The Big Day
So far, it has been a breeze since we started planning. However, now we're starting to slowly figure out exactly how we want our big day to go. Between deciding on the guest list (trying to keep it around 100 people), sorting through the many invitation options, and figuring out how to conquer wedding registries (I want everything I see!), my head is starting to spin.
Though I do want some idea about all the smaller details now, I have to keep reminding myself we're still 9 months away. I'll be graduating from SFA in December this year, so that'll give me time away from school (Mid-December - April) to figure a lot of things out and finalize everything. Ryan is currently managing two full-time jobs and going to school. He's looking to graduate in May 2014 - exactly 2 weeks after the Big Day. Unlike some of the stories I hear about grooms, Ryan has been a huge help. He keeps telling me to just pick what I want and we'll work on it. I've enjoyed being able to bounce around wedding ideas with him in our CNN (Circle of No Negativity). We take each other's ideas and consider them fully before giving any suggestions. It's been very helpful in the stress department.
As I said before, God is in this. He's here with us from beginning to end during the entire process - including the entirety of our marriage :) He has brought us through so much and will continue to do so. So, no matter how overwhelmed all this may seem, none of it matters if He's not a part of it. Three of us are getting married that day and that makes it easier to think about. Knowing that God will always be in the center of our hearts and lives makes all of this (and the stress that comes with it) worth it!
We love all of you and we're so excited to share this beautiful occasion with each of you! May God bless you all!!

To Our Family And Friends
Me and Ryan have decided that we would like to share our wedding planning journey with all of you. You can check out our website: wedding.hamisgood.com (it's not quite ready just yet, but we will do our best to keep it up-to-date); and we will try to keep you up-to-date on all things wedding on here. I'm so very excited to say that we are officially planning again and I cannot wait to follow the path that is before us.
I want all of us to remember the one reason we are here: God. Without Him, Ryan and I would have no clue what to do, now or in the future. God may not show us exactly what we have in store in the years to come but He has His protective hands over us and we know that from here on out all we have to do is have faith. That's it. We know deep in our hearts that, no matter what befalls us or our marriage, God will always have His hand in it. Life shouldn't be about rolling with the punches. It should be about trusting in the One who will protect us from those punches.
So, however you plan to celebrate this joyous time with us, just know that God is in this union and we (all of us) have nothing to fear in that.
We love each and every one of you! May God bless you all!!!
