I started to, but I paused as soon as the MC’s love interest was introduced. At the time, I was on romance overload and wasn’t looking forward to the puppy love I knew was going to be introduced at the time. (At that time I had read a lot of familiar stories and was sick of that particular thread then.) But now that I’ve had a break, I’ll likely jump back into it, if only for the eye candy of the pretty art. I’m like a crow when it comes to bright colors. (Or to be more accurate, that bug that gets zapped from “A Bug’s Life.”)
Up until that point though, I thought it was very cute and an interesting take. I enjoyed seeing the MC’s relationship with her mother and watching her develop a relationship with her new daddy—which why I particularly annoyed when a love interest was introduced as I knew it would take screen time from the relationships I was into.
