So I hand flap but I dont always keep my hands loose to flap them, so I just punch air sideways really fast, I accidentally stabbed myself and scratched myself doing it with a knife in my hand, accidentally, twice, so yeah, stimming is fantastic, but make sure your hands are empty! This is the scar from one of the times, I'm pretty sure I nicked a nerve cause it burns and is numbish from the wound to my thumb, BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU STIM

It's kinda cool being autistic and a parent, I get to play with toys without looking weird, my son and I both hand flap when excited and happy, we connect in ways others dont, he may not be autistic but we have so much fun... the only things NOT fun is sensory overload and its impossible to keep to a schedule... we settled with routines instead of a schedule but sometimes hes not with it... anyway, being a parent is fun most of the times
