18.06.17 | study for my last 2 exams for this semester - Diagnostic Imaging written and viva voce. The written is tomorrow and the viva on Wednesday - then I am free for 4 weeks! I would much rather be out in that winter sunshine though.
• A guy who manages a lot of well-known successful bands and was a member of a pivotal 80’s goth band in the U.K. (was impressed about how famous he actually is, but as a person he was endearing and authentic) recommended me to look up this artist and this album after hearing me play Wes Montgomery at the shop. We spoke music for hours and his friends were the loveliest people I’ve met in a long while. He bought my “signature” scent (Another 13) and had me compound it for him as a way to honor the experience and to have a little piece of me in his travels.
• A scent recommendation from a regular client that loves to speak to me for hours about the beauty of “gun powder” notes and dark, sensual perfumes.
• A quote that inspired the creation of one of my all-time favorite scents, Tonka 25. Made me love it even more.
