Got any tips you learned from doing this? I’ve been trying to design a victorian Queen anne for my story for years.
maybe, I mostly just gathered a million billion references, but the key to them is: asymmetry, lots of scroll work, dentils, towers, big porches, balconies, a variety of wall textures such as shingles or wooden slats or brick all on one house
I have some images here with names of things that will help you look up specific elements. Usually the internet is a great source for designs of this stuff if you just know what their actual names are.
there’s a nice wide variety of looks to them, as well.
