then a man named kado akiyama called hande one day. he had briefly welcomed her to the town once, but they barely knew each other, so she had no idea how he found her phone number. he said, "hey friend!" and asked if he could stay at hande's place for a few days.

hande, a friend? maybe mt komorebi wasn't that bad after all, and she wanted to experience new things anyway! she said yes.

kado knew that hande was staying in a tent and that she didn't want others to sleep in there alongside her. he didn't seem to mind, as apparently he was an adventurer himself. they seemed to have such wonderful synergy.... but hande then learned that he was married, although maybe the marriage wasn't going very well.
