Why is it whenever I queue into Handlock I face 15 hunters in a row. It’s such a shitty matchup for me jfc
Handlock VS Hunter, opening hand
As an handlock player that in the picture is a strong opener against Hunter (maybe the second Healbot is not ok, but you know, when you change one card, Hearthstone gives that card back to you).
Mortal Coil
Healbot
Molten Giant
You want to keep or mulligan for Molten Giant and Healbot, along with some early removal: Dark Bomb, Mortal Coin. The idea is to let the Hunter take your life down, control a bit the board and then drop the Giant followed by Healbot.
After this is done you have to do your math and understand how many turns you need to kill him with your Giant while racing the turns he needs to kill you. The Healbot 99.99% of the time is trading material whereas the Giant is face damage.
That’s it, enjoy your better match up against hunters:)
