I have been practicing my wire wrapping skills again this week as I have been delighted by some friendly requests recently for some crystal wrappings. I remember this beauty that was sent to her new home over a year ago now, and hope she is doing well and gets to adorn her beauty often. This month I am focusing on using everything and minimizing waste. Too often I’ll head out to purchase more art supplies from big box suppliers such as Michael’s, but just like fashion it can be so easy to forget that art supplies as well can have a big impact on the environment with manufacturing, shipping and packaging. But sometimes the small business and locally owned stores don’t have all the needs!! So this month instead of thinking about new projects with new materials I am going back to my roots to practice these wire skills I picked up at the young age of six. Back to my roots in order to use up all the wire I was given by my beautiful friend not too long ago as well as to show off all the stones I have collected over the years.
