"Head study" About 20 years ago I saw a documentary about graffiti in Spain where @sixeparedes worked in his studio making small sculptures with pieces of wood and metal, which he attached with wire and then painted. Yesterday, while I was looking at some remains that have been in my studio for a while, I decided to try something similar, joining various parts and by pressure, without any glue. It also serves as a practice for the next Sculpture Workshop with materials found on the street, which I hope to teach in a few weeks. The influence of #Romualdhazoumè is also evident. Wooden box, cardboard boxes, packing paper, bicycle tubes, bracelet, wire and white paint. Hace unos 20 años vi un documental sobre graffiti en España donde @sixeparedes trabajaba en su estudio realizando pequeñas esculturas con piezas de madera y metal, que unía con alambre y luego pintaba. Ayer, mientras miraba unos restos que llevan un tiempo en mi estudio, decidí probar algo parecido, uniendo varias partes por presión, sin ningún pegamento.También me sirvio de práctica para el próximo Taller de Escultura con materiales encontrados en la calle, que espero poder hacer en unas semanas.
