As luck would have it, itās day 1 of World Breastfeeding Week and what a day 1 to have 𤣠Last night Melody was taken up the hospital in an ambo as she wasnāt able to breathe, it turns out she has croup. Some meds and steroids cleared things up quickly for her and we are now on our way home but what a scary few hours. Now that Iām sitting down and awake enough to write, I wanted to reflect on something Iām so proud of today. Just being able to jump in the ambo knowing I didnāt need to pack bottles, formula, wonder how Iād heat things, keep things sanitary⦠is a happiness I am so grateful to have experienced. As you guys know Koda and Kaddy were formula fed and whilst I am the biggest advocate for fed ALWAYS being best, I also wanted to share this little win in my dreary tired state. Knowing that today, no matter where we were, or what we were doing, I had the goods on board that my little love needed. I feel really proud. So with that I wish all my mama friends a Happy Breastfeeding Week, no matter how your feeding your little love today, just know that I think your awesome. Ps mella is fine. We are off to get some shut eye! I hope!!!!! š¤ (at Brisbane, Queenland, Australia) https://www.instagram.com/p/CgsRUxLB08P/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
