Not exactly a handmap, but when I was 5 years old I said goodnight to the duck on my wall and then had to point out the hidden image in the wall-sized map to my mom lest she think I was hallucinating ... which I was, so it was fortunate I had a convincing alternative explanation.  Photo credit for the duck: Michael Breuer
