THE BROTHERHOOD OF ANGELS AND MEN

“The ancient doctrine affirms a Brotherhood not bounded by flesh, wherein angels and men labor as cooperators within one ordered hierarchy of Light. The celestial hosts are not distant ornaments of theology, but living intelligences, governors of law, measure, and harmony; and humanity, when rightly prepared, is admitted into their service as a junior partner in the Divine Work.

Every sacred culture has preserved this truth beneath differing names. The Hebrews spoke of Malachim, messengers of measure and command; the Persians of Amesha Spentas, immortal beneficences; the Greeks of daimones, mediators between heaven and earth; the Hindus of the Devas, shining administrators of cosmic order. Diversity of tongue veils a single reality: intelligences who shape, sustain, and refine the worlds according to archetypal law.

Man stands not outside this hierarchy, but within it. When disciplined by virtue and illuminated by reason, the human soul becomes a conscious coworker with higher minds. The fall of man was not a banishment from heaven, but an amnesia of vocation. Initiation is remembrance.

Herein is revealed the deeper office of Masonry. Its rituals do not petition angels as supplicants implore kings; they prepare the ground upon which intelligences may lawfully descend. Through geometry, orientation, proportion, purity of intention, and fraternal concord, the Lodge is fashioned as a microcosmic temple, consonant with celestial order. Where harmony is established below, harmony responds above.

Thus Masonry is not symbolism alone, but operative metaphysics. It labors to rectify the inner man and to consecrate space itself, making the material world translucent to higher influence. Angels work where order reigns; they withdraw where chaos prevails.

To build rightly is therefore a sacred duty. Each Lodge well-formed becomes a quiet ally of the invisible hierarchy; each Mason refined becomes a living stone in a temple not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.”

Funny that taxpayer handouts to the rich are called an "incentive" but a little help for the poor is called a "handout."

In 2022, two jaguar cubs were born at Parque Nacional El Impenetrable in northern Argentina. The 320,000-acre preserve opened in 2017, but hiking trails, glamping sites, and tourism programs have recently made the area easier to explore.
