Kyouko's hands are... well. you know.

Byakuya's hands are actually calloused, from the time before he was a Togami. He does a lot to keep them clean and moisturized.

Makoto's is far less calloused, soft with fat even, and it frightens Byakuya how different the feeling of their hands are, and how stark of a history it betrays about them. It reinforces Byakuya's idea of Makoto "having it easy" compared to himself.

Kyouko cannot feel from her hands, so the next sensitive part of her exposed body is her lips. Though it's extremely rare she feels the need to, Kyouko always prefers to be the kisser than the kissed. Makoto never asks to have her gloves taken off, and learns to appreciate the smell of leather and the grime and dirt it it inevitably accumulates. Byakuya is always recommending her better glove materials for different uses.
