my take on handsome Rhys! I recently posted this on IG but here’s my explanation 

 so considering Rhys managed to convince Jack not to murder him and use him as a meat suit, Rhys becomes human representative CEO of Jack. Jack is still the Hyperion boss but Rhys keeps up public appearances. The exoskeletons get turned into the new line of loader bot (a robot army basically) and Rhys wears handsome Jack-esq clothes (with the exception of a vest) However Jack is still super controlling, and demands the head port wire remains plugged in 99.9% of the time, so essentially keeping poor Rhys on a leash.
