Mafia AU? Hank and his loyal dogs.
Let's imagine that Hank in his youth helped three children out of the kindness of his heart (Connor and Sixty are twins, and Nines is a year younger) and for some time helped their family with money (for example), after some time life pits them against each other again and this time the brothers decide to never leave their savior, and now the most important person in their lives.
This could also be an AU where Connor, Sixty and Nines are androids but the story is almost the same.
