Horrendous thought: Anthony and Josh switch therapists
A Dusty Hearth
An Archive of Our Own, a project of the Organization for Transformative Works
After what passes for an amicable breakup, Hannah Stone has moved from the big city back to the relatively small town of Renville where she grew up. This is not a welcome change, as unfortunately in a small town everyone knows you and you know everyone, making escaping the negativity of the past near impossible. Not to mention the fact that her ex-girlfriend refuses to leave her thoughts. Even living in a nice apartment with two new roommates, Hannah can't seem to escape the feeling that her life has gone to total shit. Kai has always been a wanderer. After dropping out of high school and giving full control of their parents business to his sister, Nya, he's traveled across Ninjago. He told his sister he would never settle down, that he was meant for travel, so when he shows up at her doorstep years later, with nothing but an overstuffed backpack, she's a bit concerned. Still, Kai says he just wants to settle down for a bit. He needs to find something, he says, something he's lost. When the two of them discover an old tie between their pasts, they must work together to restore a history at risk of being lost, and along the way, they may finally find what they both need.
Day 14: Crude Art
In my mind, Hannah Stone is the therapist of all Dark Pictures characters :) Wonder if we'll ever see her in an actual game? Meanwhile, enjoy the start of her first session with Anthony ...
14 – Crude Art (Hannah)
Whenever Hannah got a new patient, she asked them to draw what they were feeling. It wasn’t a particular popular task for her patients, but a very insightful one for her. Some intentionally drew a happy situation, some a very macabre one, but everyone showed more about themselves than they initially wanted to reveal. Hannah had seen so many drawings by now that she didn’t expect to be surprised by their motif anymore.
Until she saw the drawing of Anthony Clarke.
He was her newest patient, so of course Hannah had asked him to draw what he felt – but she hadn’t suspected that his drawing would be the most disturbing she had ever seen.
It showed four human-like figures, but their bodies were all horribly deformed, almost like the bodies of long-deceased corpses. They all hovered over a little girl with black hair and red eyes, but it didn’t look they were threatening her, but as if she had summoned them. But the thing that actually horrified Hannah were the words Anthony had written above his drawing:
MY FAMILY
She looked at him and he returned her gaze with an expression she couldn’t read. Some patients intentionally provoked her, but Anthony didn’t look like he was one of them. In fact, his eyes were empty, no soul left in them, like he was still recovering from an experience that was too horrible to name. He looked like he hadn’t even realized what he had drawn, and didn’t care what it revealed about his mental state.
“Do you want to talk about your drawing?” Hannah asked.
Slowly, Anthony shook his head. “No. Not – Not yet.”
Yet. This was a good sign. “That’s okay,” Hannah reassured him. “Is there anything you want to talk about? Anything you want to ask?”
“Yes,” Anthony said. But Hannah didn’t expect the following words. The words that made her realize that he would become the most memorable patient she had ever had.
“Are you real?”

Normally wouldn't have done art for a game like Wanted: Dead, but it's so fucking bizarre, and has occupied my brain since I finished it last week.
Ive never heard of Wanted: dead before, but the one jacob geller video really caught my eye about it. I really like the mc’s design
Any fellow Wanted: Dead fans out there? The tag is awfully dead and I want more content/discussion!
