I didn't think I was, but I'm genuinely sorry it came off that way, it wasn't my intention. I assumed that her sprite was implying that she was in the shadows so she looked darker. The artstyle of the game also kind of muddy with characters having kind of unclear skincolor palette in general

With longer inspection, I can see that the pink area of her face seems to be more scar tissue-like. I didn't whitewash her intentionally, but I do appreciate that you did bring it up. I'll do better
