I know the common fanfic headcannon is that the Christmas Booth was in a relationship with Hannah for Brennan was spent alone. I like to think that Brennan spent it with her brother and her nieces, reconnecting with one kind of family even if she feels like she’s lost another. Either that or she went on a trip of some sort.

I'm getting increasingly exhausted by tumblr's biphobia as radical praxis shit
True revolutionaries suppress any attraction they might feel for political purposes. Wait, that sounds frighteningly familiar.

what the everloving fuck
They’re “helping.” Because golly harrassing bi women over being fakes was something that was lacking.

There are so many things wrong with this a novel would have trouble unwinding it.
We’d need a 7 book series.

Lmao like it was ever going to. I’m wondering if there was actually a reason people thought it would? Like did they pull a 100 and seriously promote it for that reason or something?
I'm getting a bunch of things secondhand but apparently here on tumblr there is a very popular blogger who is an adult you had a bunch of underage people convinced that it was going to happen.

long story short there was a group of grown ass white women who bullied, harassed, and cult-initiated people into believing it would happen and are the reason why the sherlock fandom became intolerable.
Thank you for the clarification.
Rereading Pride and Prejudice makes me mad all over again how badly The Lizzie Bennet Diaries handled Lydia’s arc and how it managed to make the story more regressive than the original. Like it completely ruined the show for me, it was just so fucking badly written and so fucking lazy in how it adapted the story

4. Did you discover any new authors that you love this year?
So even though I technically read a book of his last year, this year has catapulted Hanif Abdurraqib into one of my auto read authors. I love his prose and how he approaches his topics, and you in particular I think will enjoy They Can't Kill Us Until They Kill Us. For authors I actually read for the first time this year, probably Jordan Ifueko
20. What was your most anticipated release? Did it meet expectations?
God I was so bad at reading new releases this year. I think the closest I can say is The Maid and the Crocodile by Jordan Ifueko, because I was looking forward to it after reading her debut duology this year and yeah, it met expectations.
25. What reading goals do you have for next year?
Actually read more of the books that own and stop buying so many books to deal with anxiety
