I got the Feeding Hannibal cookbook for my birthday. And I love it.
However. I cannot eat flour, sugar, cornstarch, bread, pasta, potatoes, rice, or sweet fruit. And I won’t eat tongue, brain, liver, snails, and most fish.
Which means there’s only like four things in here I could even try. One of which is the Clay Baked Thigh Chicken, which I am seriously considering. Another was this little cream cheese pomegranate ball thing.
Still worth it. The pictures are gorgeous. The recipes are interesting. There’s little concept sketches, some of which were on Janice Poon’s blog. There’s anecdotes from set and about the dishes. And some quips that appeal perfectly to my sense of humor.

Favourite platonic pairing:
Hmmmmm!!! This is a tough one. I really enjoyed Will and Beverly in season 1+2a, I thought they had fun and seemed like they could be really good friends.
I also enjoyed the dynamic that Jack and Hannibal had of Jack enjoying every single meal Hannibal ever made, including fish jello.
Ultimately, I think the best platonic pairing would have been Chilton and Freddie.
How would you improve the show?
Is that a possibility?
Idk, I would have had more of Will getting dragged by every woman in his life, up to and including those he slept with/was going to sleep with. I think that was a very fun part of the show that deserved even more time.
Personally, if copyright allowed, I would have thrown in some SOTL stuff and had Will be insanely jealous that someone else could catch Hannibal's attention, even if only for a second. Then we could have continued the trend of "everyone who dates/sleeps with Will and/or Hannibal turns into a lesbian" by pairing Clarice and Molly together.

I’m working on so many things at one time, plus working a lot. I’ve been so tired lately. I’ve got a one-shot for @duality-of-hannigram, in the works, it’s half finished. I started a fan vid of hannigram as well for fun, that I’m excited to share, I might finish up tomorrow. AND I need to work on the 2nd chapter of my fic.
Lots to do so little time.
