So what did you think of the ending of the H50 episode then?
I was a bit disappointed by the argument - not even a thank you, from Steve? Not even a sincere conversation?
But what actually deeply hurt me, was that Danny lands the plane - refuses to land in the water, because it’ll kill Steve - he lands the plane, he’s devastated, he shrugs off his injuries to seek revenge. He volunteers in a heartbeat, to go under the knife, to help Steve.
And then the whole episode becomes about how wonderful Steve is, how amazing he is, how he’s done so much for them all. And Danny’s forgotten about like yesterday’s trash. Nobody wants to talk about him? Nobody wants to say, “hey wasn’t it pretty neat how Danny did all that shit?” “hey isn’t it pretty great how Danny’s donating part of his liver, to Steve?”
I love Steve, and I loved the team’s convos about him. But Danny got built up (beautifully) only to be discarded like rubbish.
THAT SAID. The first half of the episode was FLAWLESS, oh my god, have mercy on my poor soul. Danny was on FIRE.
