oh my gosh that is so cool and great and yes I am glad it was fun!!!

It was pretty flawless, tbh. Much better than when I got to meet Christopher Moore. Peter lived in Seattle for a few years in the late 80s/early 90s and still has a lot of ties here. I'm sure he will have no recollection of our conversation, but still. I pretty much want to adopt him now.

ALSO LIVE ACTION THE LAST UNICORN PRODUCTION WILL BEGIN IN EARLY 2015. Prayer circle for Christopher Lee living long enough to be part of it. (But CL said not to worry if he doesn't make it that long, because he's already risen from the dead a few times and knows how it's done).

spn after s5 does not exist

I think I 94% hate-watch it as a vigil for Adam. Also, I had to go look up the episodes of s5 and I forgot how there used to be fun/funny episodes

except I finally watched this week's episode and the freckles made a strong cameo, so maybe they'll stick around this season unlike the TERRIBLE fake tan last season

it turned out to be okay. It ended up being an hour and nothing happened

unless you count the automated phone call from google suggesting we update our info because they have a paid ad space for a business similar to ours <yeah right>

YES. My Mom had breast cancer and if anything it's made me more annoyed with all the dumb "awareness" stuff. Just another easy cause people use to feel better about themselves without actually contributing anything meaningful.

That's absolutely it. I feel like in the evolution of nonprofits/philanthropy, awareness is the most basic stage. Which is a fantastic place to start, but then donors want more action less talk. I live in a place where there is a huge emphasis on doing things locally, so something big and bland like an awareness campaign is a really hard pill for me to swallow. I would much rather make a donation directly to the local hospital/research center that took such amazing care of my best friend's mother during her bouts with cancer. Which is still probably not the most ideal place to donate, but emotion trumps logic when it comes to donations.
