it’s a mad concept to me that people are having classes online while my uni just gave up on teaching and put our exams online hahah
really tho, if anyone has advice for overcoming the "smart kid syndrome" / fear of failure and therefore also of studying, please message me or send me an ask or something because I'm starting to really come to terms with the fact that this is something I struggle with and don't know what to do
I really want to do some painting but it’s nearly 11am and I’ve done barely any studying, so this is me putting out into the world that if I do an hour of solid work now then I can paint for a while
raise your hand if you’ve got a massive to-do list for the holidays and almost definitely won’t get it all done ✋🏼
I’ve finished all my exams! I only had three so they absolutely flew by & now I have about 4 months until uni starts up again! Really can’t believe that I’ve finished my first year at university but I’m so proud that I managed it. I’ve wondered a few too many times if I’m doing the right course or if I like it enough to want to spend the rest of my life working in this area, but I still made it through a whole year and am doing okay I hope summer comes soon for all those still doing exams - let me know how you’re getting on / how much you hate everything and everyone bc I understand
alright folks this is it. if I don’t get my head in the game I genuinely fear that I’m going to fail my first year of uni. so I’ve downloaded khan academy and saved every relevant maths video, I’ve downloaded all the tutorial assignments we had over first semester so I can redo them and see if I understand what’s going on, and I’ve come up with what I think is a realistic and useful study timetable for the next semester. fingers crossed!
