Keeping fit is what we do every weekend morning! . I always tell others I have 3 boys- Bing, Yi and of course Mr hubby. . Spending some energy outdoor is the right way to start the weekend. . Now that I cannot travel back to Kuantan due to #CMCO, I am glad that I have candid moments like these captured to remind me of my loved ones. As a doctor and frontliner, I try to be vigilant and stop the chain of transmission. . Being away only makes me yearn the reunion. . Only Organic (NZ Brand) for Babies From 9 Months
This is the 2nd post I’m sharing on my top picks of baby cereal and instant meals which I’ll be using for my next trip with Baby Dozer! If you’re wondering what this series is all about, here’s a recap:
When preparing for my trip to Bali with Baby Dozer last year, I visited quite a few baby shops including Tesco and AEON and was rather disappointed with the lack of choices. After being invited to visit Happikiddo not too long ago (read about it here), I was pleasantly surprised to find that they carry a wide variety of commercial baby cereal and instant meals from Australia, New Zealand and the United States!

What It’s Called: Only Organic Third Foods 9+ Months. Pictured here is the Only Organic Peach Mango Sunset meal recommended for dessert
Price: RM7.90 per jar at Happikiddo. Happikiddo members get 5% discount
Product Info: Only Organic is a New Zealand certified organic brand. All products are made in New Zealand. I came to know this brand after seeing their products in Happikiddo and found the brand suitably impressive. They have products for babies of different age groups: 4 months, 6 months, 9 months and 1 year old and above! Check out their “Feeding By Age” guide on their website here. They use whole grains too!
Why I Like This Product:
1. Organic: According to their website, Only Organic “uses only the best organic fruits & veggies grown on certified organic farms without any chemical fertilizers or pesticides”. I know that there’s only so much I can do to verify the authenticity of organic food but New Zealand is one of those countries that rank high on my reliability list.
2. Taste: Yummy! :)
3. Nutrition: I am a happy Mummy whenever I see a good mix of veggies and meat in instant meals for my baby. Only Organic also publishes the list of the nutritive value of their food on the packaging and their website.
4. Product Variety: This brand scores high on the variety rating. Just check out their website here for the full list of their products available for babies of different ages! I am really happy that they’ve even specified which products are for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and EVEN dessert!
What is RICE Tableware: The Only Organic meals seen here are shot with the melamine RICE tableware. RICE is a Danish home wares and accessories company. They are known for their colourful, funky yet practical melamine, handmade baskets and storage, and hand glazed tableware.
What I Like About RICE: Pay a visit to the Hapikiddo outlet at Quill City Mall along Jalan Sultan Ismail and I’m sure that just like me, the collection of RICE tableware on display will take your breath away. The designs are just so colourful and attractive. They have various designs in solid colours and patterns!
I also like that they are melamine, which means that they don’t break easily, making them really good for babies! The RICE brand is BPA-free and certified food-safe. Some precautions to take though are NOT to put melamine ware in the microwave and to discard once there are cracks.

Plum Organics Hello Meals for Babies from 6 Months
I’m a huge advocate of giving fresh or homecooked foods to baby. Nevertheless, I also like to have a ready stock of commercial cereals and instant baby meals at home for those times when Mummy is in a rush, on-the-go or on holiday.
When preparing for my trip to Bali with Baby Dozer last year, I visited quite a few baby shops including Tesco and AEON and was rather disappointed with the lack of choices. Today and for the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing with you a series of posts on my top picks of baby cereal and instant meals which I’ll be using for my next trip with Baby Dozer! Huge thank you to Happikiddo for collaborating with us on this series!
What It’s Called: Plum Organics Hello Meals
Price: RM24.90 per box at Happikiddo. Happikiddo members get 5% discount
Product Info: Plum Organics is a brand which carries meals for “Babies”, “Tots” and “Toddlers”. You probably know this brand for their Super Puffs which are very popular among mothers as baby snacks. Good news is they have a range called “Hello Meals”, where you can feed your baby his / her breakfast, lunch and dinner - all instant! Simply pour out a sachet into a bowl, add boiling water, stir and you’re good to go.
Why I Like This Product:
1. Organic: Plum Organics is both USDA certified organic AND a GMO-free brand. This makes it a good choice, especially if you’re particular about organic and GMO-free for your baby!
2. Taste: I had the chance of sampling this product and it tasted pretty good! :)
3. Nutrition: I like that their meals are a mix of nutritious foods. For example, “Hello Dinner” as in the photo above is a mix of spinach, sage, quinoa and carrot. “Hello Morning” in the photo above is a mix of baby oats, chia and quinoa!
4. Product Variety: I also like that they have a variety of flavours to choose from so if I go for a 5-day trip, Baby Dozer doesn’t have to eat the same thing every day.
5. Convenience: Best part? The sachets are so light and easy to pack!
Grace’s Tip: For small eaters, 1 sachet per meal should be enough but big eaters possibly will need at least 2 sachets per meal.

Happikiddo, Citta Mall
Last month, I was invited to visit the Happikiddo store in Citta Mall. I do have a few favourite baby shops which I frequent and shops that end up on my favourite baby list are those that meet the following criteria:
Carry my favourite brands and products
Clean and organised
Reasonably priced - even better if you can get a member’s discount
Good customer service
So, how does Happikiddo Citta Mall fare with regards to all 4 points mentioned above?
First Impressions:
Generally, I’m an easy-to-please shopper. The first few things which caught my eye were that the store is big and brightly lit.
The store size is 4,200 square feet. To put that into perspective, that’s approximately the size of 3 standard condominium units
To top off that feeling of “looks like I’m gonna find something good here today”, the first few brands that were displayed at the store entrance are my favourite brands! Definitely appealing and inviting.
My favourite brands! And they carry Suavinex and GroVia too (not pictured here). I like Suavinex because their designs are hot - wait I mean haute and they carry latex products which Baby Dozer needs. And who can resist the cute Skip Hop prints?
So, what’s different about this store? Comprehensive, that’s what!
Shopping for Baby Dozer has recently become an even more enjoyable activity than shopping for myself. I realised, upon entering the store, that Hubs was going to have to pull out his Patience medication today. :P
Check out the products they have. From baby feeding…
…to feeding utensils…
…to maternity clothes…
…to baby and children’s clothes…
Little boys’ clothes are too cool, especially those hoody sweaters!
…to footwear, swimwear and toys, toys and toys including Hape, Fisher-Price, and …
…to baby accessories like the Grobag and baby hangers…
…to gifts for parents…
…oh sorry, wrong picture. I got too carried away with the Hape toys ever since Baby Dozer received a set of wooden blocks for his birthday! Hape toys are primarily made from wood or bamboo and they claim to use natural materials including water-based paints. When I was working overseas, I learnt that water-based paints are meant to be more environmentally-friendly and “natural”.
I wouldn’t mind getting one of these awesome photo frames as a Christmas present
But that’s not all. They carry car seats, strollers, baby cots and feeding chairs…

If you’re still not convinced with the store size and product range…

How does Happikiddo Citta Mall fare in terms of customer service?
I am looking for a car seat for Baby Dozer so this was a very ideal moment to test out the customer service of Happikiddo. There wasn’t any one at the car seat section so I went to the cashier counter and asked if someone could assist me. Instantly, one of the Happikiddo staff walked me over to the car seat section and proceeded to give Hubs and me an introduction to the car seats that they carry. We were soon joined by yet another staff, who also helped us with our browsing.
That’s when we learnt that most local car seat brands do not have ISOFIX and that car seats equipped with ISOFIX are in the price range of MYR 1,000 and above. I was more than satisfied with the helpfulness of the staff and their willingness to explain.
Unfortunately, the store did not carry what I was looking for as they did not have many car seats with the ISOFIX feature. However, the sales assistants impressed me by going the extra mile - they promptly furnished me with the store contact details and said they if I had any particular brand in mind, I could contact them and they could see if they could bring the product in.
How to Get Discounts:
Finally, the all important question! How can I get discounts at this store? Customers can qualify for discounts if they are VIB members. Very Important Baby members! To sign up for VIB membership, you will need to spend MYR 250 in order to receive a one-year free membership. Members are entitled to a 5% discount on every purchase and…20% off during their birthday month!
Personally, I find a 20% discount pretty substantial especially when it comes to products like GroVia cloth diapers, of which I am a staunch fan. Read about why I like GroVia here.
Final Verdict:
Does Happikiddo Citta Mall make it into my list of favourite stores. You bet it does!
