Hey everyone! I hit 600 followers last night! I didn't really start this blog with any intention to gain a following or anything like that, it mostly started as a way for me to have an outlet for all my hyperfixation rant essays LMAO but I'm really over the moon to see how many of you have been reading Rekindled and enjoying it <3 I wasn't really sure if I wanted to work on any sort of LO content beyond just the panel edits when I started out here. I barely used Tumblr prior to this, but it seemed like a good fit after finding and lurking in some of the other blogs and communities (shoutout to @antiloreolympus , @minthe-lover , @minthesupremacy, @ngloreolympus , @lore-olympus-reimagined and @nymphsupremacy , y'all grabbed me by the collar and made me your bitch with your great takes and art 😤) The panel edits were one thing, of course, but starting up a whole rewrite/redraw project has been a whole other endeavor - having you all along for the ride with your support and lovely comments each week has made it such a joy to do <3

You were holding hands when you arrived at the park. Peter looked like a child, his eyes everywhere and anywhere, trying to get as much as possible of the landscape with such big doe orbs. You giggled to yourself and kept on walking, swinging interlaced fingers.

“Where do I set the picnic?” He asked, lifting the basket and you took a glance around.

“Here is fine” you told him and picked up the towel from the basket, putting it on the grass and sitting above it. 

The boy sat down, setting the food next to you, picking the homemade tuna sandwiches you guys made before, trying to turn it into a gourmet sandwich, to look presentable, but instead, it looked like Thanos came down to earth and smashed it himself — then spit on it. But the taste was good, so you didn’t mind.

You were near a lake, so you could see pretty ducks walking around and swimming peacefully, like a scene taken from a romantic movie. Except that you and Peter never acted like the protagonists— more like the weird friends who would show just for a few minutes and make jokes, then, suddenly leave. 

Peter looked at you and, then again, at the ducks, smiling gleefully.

“Hey, Y/N!” He pointed at the lake, showing all the animals there. “Look at all those chickens!” 

Your boy was the smartest you’ve ever met, but sometimes, you doubted yourself.
