Rehab done for today.
Am thinking of maybe posting here whenever I’ve done my rehab, for motivation/accountability. It’s maybe harder to keep it going mentally than physically once I get there.
It’s hard to sustain any exercise if you don’t enjoy it, but rehab isn’t something I can switch up when I’m bored. Every two or three days (max) I must do 3 circuits of pushups, tricep dips, knee lifts with 15kg weight, skull crushers, then heel raises off a step. That combines ankle and elbow rehab.
Plus regular walk, preferably daily. Still have that to do some time today.
Am regaining strength, definitely. However, overall I’m still very weak, which limits me. For example, I could wheel out an old bike for the junk collection the other day, but without strength in my left arm, I couldn’t safely lay it down.
My art summary for 2022! Happy with the progress I made this year and was able to work on my first freelance art piece. My main goals for this year was to make more art and do more studies and I feel like I achieved that. Here’s to a new year! :)
Day 4 of TONS of water and juicing in the morning. Only 1 diet coke a day. . I feel good. Next week in addition: cut cigarettes in half, exercise 2x and diet coke 3x a week. As someone wise told me today and completely motivated me (thanks oh hot yam), once the diet coke goes, everything else starts to fall into place. I see it already. Went to lunch with work peeps and ordered a water. Who am I? I'm excited, feel good and even my skin looks better. My eating isn't quite on point but I've definitely made better choices. Food decisions come in week 3. I have bigger mountains to climb. I already feel better.
