I watched the latest episode today. I have a question: how long has Francis been dead by this point? I am asking for …reasons.

Francis died in 3x05, so five episodes ago. In terms of time passing on the show, they jumped ahead three weeks with 3x06, but I haven’t kept track since then. It’s definitely less than ten months because Greer, who conceived well before Francis died, is still pregnant. I’m going to guess four months because I think it was late summer/early fall when Francis died and they haven’t had winter yet.

In a weird way, I have decided that Conde makes sense. If she had married Bash instead, Mary would have always wondered about Francis. With that question answered (and none too well), she can be open to someone like Bash. Looking on the bright side.

That was hilarious! It was especially funny to me because I actually watched this episode and was so "meh" about it, I couldn't be bothered to write up any thoughts. I have suspicions, but nothing worth spending the energy on.

I agree entirely.  It was just so lukewarm however hard they tried to shock us.  Much preferring the behind the scenes shots this season, the cast continue to have lots of fun together and that's what I like to see.

NEVER.  Those of us who have read the whole series know that this is just the beginning of the most wonderful, fulfilling and equal relationship ever written.

Absolutely!  I'm loving the TV adaptation.  It's never going to be the same as the book, but the script has DG's blessing, the actors have her blessing and she is pleased.  I'm content.
