Sometimes a song can be confusing. I like that.

This is one of those songs. Certain melodies have the ability to churn nostalgic, longing, or sadness of some sort. This combination of chord progressions and lyrical melodies do just that. Not to mention that the lyrics themselves are very pessimistic and doubtful. It’s a sad song, it really is.

But then you put it all on top of a fast, poppy rhythm and nobody notices that they are listening to a sad song.

But now you do.
