Detroit Become Human: Markus Relationship Headcanons
Just saying, why does auto-correct hate Markusā name? Anyway, I forgot to mention, all of these headcanons are based off of the best ending possible- i.e, everyone survives, Connor goes deviant etc. I also want to say that I try to make these headcanons as gender neutral as possible. If you have any pointers as to how I could improve, just tell me!

Markus is a very open lover
He tells you everything about himself and, while he doesnāt expect the same thing from you, is happy to hear your backstory
He wants to know about you, your deepest fears and your wildest dreams, all of it, so he can love you despite what you think are your flaws
Markus will never see a flaw in you
However, he does not hesitate to point out if something you have done doesnāt sit right with him
His moral compass is very well set, and he will immediately know if you have malicious intent or are trying to do something for the wrong reasons
He is your rock, your way back to earth
If youāre angry at someone, he will step aside until he feels necessary, and only then will he step in before you push your self control limit
I headcanon that in a relationship, Markus is the more reasonable one
But if he knows that you canāt fight a battle on your own, or that the person youāre fighting is in the wrong, he wonāt hesitate to step inĀ
Markus is your support, your protection and your best friend
In return, you become his support
Being such a diplomatic leader and such a famous android leaves him emotionally drained sometimes
He will need a shoulder to cry on in those momentsĀ
And of course you are very willing to lend yours
He needs you as much as you need him to ground himself when the pressure gets too much
You are there to remind him that he needs to take a break sometimes
You usually have to force him away from whatever work heās doing to come and cuddle with you in a while
He needs you to remind him that he has emotions and they are both a tool for construction and destruction
He often admires how wise and thoughtful you can be, itās very different to how wisdom and thoughtfulness initially appeared to him

He sometimes feels as if the world is bearing on his shouldersĀ
When you just quietly say this little nickname to him it helps him so much
He can hear the pride and admiration in your voice and it boosts him to keep on going
Also give this man some neck rubs
Heās an android and doesnāt really get achy muscles and stuff, yes, but they feel nice and he likes knowing that you are putting the effort in to help him get comfy
When Markus shows affection, itās intense af
Overall heās an intense boi, but when it comes to youā¦
He hugs you like there is no tomorrow, sweeping you up into his arms and holding you as close as possible
His kisses are always long and drawn out and he always makes sure you are totally breathless and mind-blown before he pulls away from your lips
He loves cuddling with you
Cuddles are usually comprised of you curled up in his lap, his arms around you, sometimes playing with your hair, and loads of little kisses pressed on your neck
If heās feeling bold he will definitely leave a couple of hickeysĀ
Heās a cheeky boi at times
He loves to fluster you at all times possible and necessary
He knows every (and I mean every) way to do so
His favourite is to lightly trail his finger down the back of your neck and spine and to watch a little tremor go through you and the brightest blush set in your cheeks
Heāll always deny heās the culprit though
Markus is definitely the type of guy who can take one look at you and immediately tell what mood you are in
Heās also very good at telling whether youāre lying or not
Markus is able to read you like a book and, honestly,you donāt mind at all
You love it when youāve had one of those days and you just donāt want to talk about it and you can some home and Markus will take one look at you and immediately know what to do

You love his smiles and making him smile is officially your favourite hobby now
Making him laugh is also a hobby
Basically Markus and you are perfect for each other, you complete one another and Markus couldnāt carry on without you
