In 2000 the Victoria and Albert Museum in London exhibited its own permanent collection of original Hapshash posters and designs, “Cosmic Visions–Psychedelic Posters from the 1960s.”

#Repost @vamuseum with @repostapp ・・・ The 1960s heralded a golden age of poster design. In Britain this was pioneered by a group of artists including Michael English and Nigel Waymouth who formed Hapshash and the Coloured Coat to produce posters for the UFO Club in London. The resulting designs were startling and brought an explosive vitality to the fly posters on London streets. They used gold and silver inks, super bright colours, fluid typography, beautiful illustration and op-art graphics. Eye candy to match or enhance any psychedelic experience!
