Ok I have finally finalized my red life long skirt Kanukei design (for now)

Just finished my semester so here are some of my favorite Burney doodles (yes, all Burney because he is on nearly every page of my second psych notebook)

I think I fully acknowledged the fact that I was slowly making his hair longer and longer over time so by the time I got to drawing his red skin I just committed to the ponytail.

Goofy doodles because screw angst, I just wanna be happy </3

Context for the first two: my son went to a vet called "Paws Haven" or something like that and had the idea that it was ran by Kanukei and Salty and that they'd name animals after their friends (there's two dogs named Sidefall and Zapy somewhere around there)

I've been slowly going through all of the chained life moments and this has to be my favorite moment of them all. I haven’t watched Ender's pov yet, but Burney's pov where he yanks Ender back from joining the party chasing Kanukei and Salty out of the woodland mansion before just quietly turning to him and saying "We would never do that." while 6 people are screaming a room over has me.

Also Joe Hills is the only reason I'm decently efficient at drawing chains. That's the Joe Hills Difference.

Every time I draw Burney, I start with something different and then suddenly he's just *there*. He haunts my psych notes with quotes like "I'm gonna kill myself", it's scary. The ghost made me to do it. It was the ghost.
