Some love for the captain of the 10th division since apparently August 3rd is Harada Day!

Hi there! Just wondering, what's your favorite backstage moment from Harada-hen? (If you haven't seen them yet, feel free to not answer this until you have.)

How can you possibly ask me to pick just one?! Here are a collection of moments that stood out to me and don’t require too much context:

Shiranui briefly breakdancing with a sword, because it’s impossible to be much more badass than that (except his goofy jubilant grin does offset that a bit)

Hijikata air-playing every instrument during the intro to “GIVE ME THE POWER” – this one’s the strongest contender for favorite overall tbh

Harada extricating himself from his western wear, because hot damn those muscles

Okita using Kondou as a maypole for some reason??

Shiranui sneaking up and pretending to shoot Kazama… immediately followed by Kazama’s stellar impressions of Amagiri and Heisuke

Hijikata dramatically singing along with Chizuru while shrugging off the outer layers of his costume

Yamazaki fixing Saito’s outfit while completely in-character, followed by some fluffy HeiSai snuggles (I don’t know what’s going on or why but I don’t need to)

Saito and Heisuke lip-syncing one of Chizuru’s songs, but Heisuke shoves Saito out of the frame to take the spotlight

Nagakura and Kondou actually acting out the argument they’re supposed to be having offstage

Yamazaki acting out the beginning of “Yaisa! Yaisa! Yaisa!”, complete with providing his own version of the intro, and promptly tripping maybe-on-purpose

WHERE DID OKITA EVEN GET A RIFLE AND WHY DID HE USE IT TO SHOOT DOWN HIJIKATA???

and of course there’s nothing like Shogo coming for a visit to tug at the heartstrings

…yeah the extras are always fabulous and Harada-hen was no exception~
