summary: Harada doesn't expect it when Yuuki Tetsuya shows up at his bartending shift after having shown up at his barista shift earlier the same day. He's also romantically intrigued, but the realization doesn't come until much later.
Hi!! Wanna ask for a scenario were Haratetsu's s/o lost something or someone important (could a pet, or a person who died or left) and he is trying to comfort her or making her laugh.
Uuuuunder the cuuut as always…!
Tears were threatening to spill from your eyes as you relieve today’s happenings. Your dog who has been with you from the day you were born until now, has died. You understood why, really. He was already a few years old when you were born and he lived for so long, maybe it was time for him to leave.
You tried your best not to make it obvious at school that you were pretty down but unfortunately, you couldn’t escape the eyes of the former Shitenhouji captain.
“_________”
“Hara? What now? I’m not in the mood for your jo–”
“You’re about to head home, right? I’ll walk you.”
You only blinked at him. “What’s with you? You usually don’t do this…”
“Ehhh, it’s fine, right? Besides, we live in the same street.”
“Fine then.”
The both of you started to head home, the walk was pretty silent, which made you feel pretty uneasy. Thankfully, he started to talk.
“____, never marry a tennis player.”
“What, why?”
“Because love means nothing to them and after 40, it’s game over.” It took you a while to realize what he was talking about but when you did… Love balls. Ohh.
“That was pretty tasteless, and you’re a tennis player, you know!”
“Ah, well, let me try again!” He pondered a bit and as if a light bulb had lit, he turned to you.
“I wondered why the tennis ball was getting bigger, at first I thought Oni did that shot where the ball seemed to grow large…Then it hit me.”
You snorted. “Nice try.”
Hara grumbled. “On a scale of 1 to 9, you’re 9. I’m the 1 one you need.”
Now that made you smile a bit. “That’s actually pretty nice but try again.”
“You know, I’m actually writing a book. It’s a telephone book and it needs your number.”
“You already have my number!”
“But it was just a joke!”
“You know, Hara… I like to tell jokes but I always punch up the fuck line.”
“W-Whaaat?”
Needless to say, the whole walk was soon full of jokes being thrown from him to you. And you didn’t even realize that your dog was soon out of your mind when the both of you joked around.
