Looking for media recommendations for small-town supernatural mysteries

Lately I've been wanting more stories set in a little rural town with dark secrets hidden under the surface. I'm down for literally any medium except a movie. TV show, webcomic, audiodrama, actual play, videogame, whatever. Here's some examples which I have watched/read/listened to for reference. Bolded are ones I really liked and are exactly what I'm looking for.

Is season 3 still in the works?

Hi there! Yes, it is. The writing process takes a long time for me, so I am very thankful for all your patience while the scripts are being written. I never want to put out something that I don't believe in 100% so this means lots and lots of development time!

Season 3 update (again)

It is a battle of the sun returning and the cold digging it’s feet in. It’s March. And Season 3 is officially being written. Updates on production as they come!

Harbor Fact of the ???

DID YOU KNOW...

That Fergum, the eyeless trio of dogs inhabited by hive-minded legion souls, are Salukis? Also known as Persian Greyhounds!

These beauties!

One of the oldest dog breeds in the world, originating from the Fertile Crescent and have landed in all parts of the world since. This breed is incredible agile, known to reach speeds of 42.8 mph!

Not that many in Harbor would know the bodies’ actual title, as Fergum likes to keep their ancient pedigree on the down-low.

Remember, don’t get too cuddly!

We’re thinking about doing a giveaway in the next few months, with some stickers and/or enamel pins (not in shop)  to help get the word out about the show. Like, folks show us a previous review they’ve left or link us to a review written specifically to be entered into the lil giveaway, and we choose a few folks at random to give the goodies to, as appreciation!

Would there be any interest in this, dear listeners? We don’t have anything set up for this yet, want to make sure there’s responsiveness before starting the journey!

V weird question but I just started the show and I love it so much! The cryptids are described really well but I wanted to ask if u had any real criptid or legend inspiration for each of them?

Thank you v. v. much, dear, and believe you me, theres no weird questions here!

You know, there was a goal in development (and continuing) for our Cryptids to grow from concepts we find either funny or spooky, and if possible a combo of both. Like Fergum stemmed from the concept of an“anti-” McGruff the Crime Dog from the 80′s and grew from there.

The only true Cryptid is a brief appearance at the end of Season 1, and he’s a “blink and you’ll miss it” kind of deal.

O.S.L. is an acronym for Old Spider Legs, a urban legend from the early 19th century. Obviously repurposed to suit our story’s... ahem, needs. He’s our one true cryptid at this point and we love that for him. https://cryptidz.fandom.com/wiki/Old_Spider_Legs
