#hard drive problem

Sorry for not posting any updates, my computer’s hard drive is having issues rn. does anyone know about what a hard drive dst error is and if it can be fixed? or if the data could be recovered?

These past few weeks, a lot of things happened.

For starters, the old hard drive is about to give up after five years of service, and some of the files are corrupted, including my cherished smartphone pics. Now that I think of it, I’m already 27 years old and I don’t have a new job as of the moment. Anyway, working for a company isn’t at all bad, but I don’t think they really care much about their employees for as long as they care about the profits. Maybe that’s one of the reasons why I’ll always remain disenchanted about finding a new job in the first place. Reality is harsh, by the way.

So what am I gonna do now? Being a NEET isn’t at all fun. I mean, relying on my brother for an allowance isn’t really a good idea, but what am I supposed to do? Well, do you have any idea how to get out of this miserable NEET lifestyle? Can you teach me how to be confident and have a high level of self-esteem in order to face the real world?

The moment I applied for a call center company based in Makati five years ago, I was really excited about what my future holds. But when the interviewer asked what would I be after five years, I replied that I’d still be working for the company, which is quite a mistake considering that the interviewer thought that I got the wrong perception about employees working as slaves for the rest of their lives or until they were cut out from the workforce.

Well, the fact that I didn't stay long in the company is something not to be proud about, but at least I made the right decision to leave instead of continuing my stint with the job/company and ended up feeling anxious and depressed afterward. During those four months with the company, I consistently avoid participating in some presentations and I refuse to work overtime, considering that I lived far from the workplace and I value relaxation more than a couple of hours of overtime. I mean, enough is enough for the day and I wanted to keep everything balanced.

Enough negativity for now. Anyway, my cousin who is now based in the US came home for a three-week visit. We were all excited to see her again after her last [secret] visit three years ago. We had a family outing and a couple of celebrations, plus a picnic. I get to see her thrice during her visit and she was really glad to see all of us. I believed she was already back in the US, and she’ll be visiting us again after two years.

After a three-week hiatus, I finally went back to blogging. Since that hiatus affected some of the scheduled posts, I really need to work hard in writing numerous posts in order to catch up.

Well, I’m planning to write a special post about this unfortunate incident very soon. But first, I need to relax and try to take it easy... or else, I’m gonna burn out.

FINALLY got this thing to boot this morning, and ended up with a bad reading error on the harddrive, my dad gave me. At least he had a 3 year warranty on it.

I went out and bought a new hard drive, and since Chris' internet was uber slow =P, I ended up bring it home, to install it.. and.. IT WORKS! IT BOOTED UP! OMG! I'm was so excited that, I just spend half an hour installing adobe master collection cs5, instead of 5.5... no wonder why my code didn't work and I was repeating this crack step forever. SHEESH!

but hey! it work! at least now we know that my dad's hard drive wasn't working properly and he can now just replace it :)

But I do thank my dad for giving that hard drive to me anyways.. made me past my semester and find a job. LOL
