that’s really hard!!!! I don’t watch a lot of movies!! maybe just something sweet and fun like a children’s movie?? like Winnie the Pooh or Tinkerbell or something.
I'm proud of a few different fics, but I'm particularly fond of "until the weight falls from your back (I’ll keep you in my arms tonight)". A Perc'ahlia fic that takes place after episode 82 of Critical Role campaign 1, it explores some of the tenderness they have in their relationship, and is really just a feel-good bath fic, with intimacy and fluff, but no sexual content. It was and still is pretty different from everything I've written, and I'm still proud looking back on it 😊
🌍 favorite type of AU to write?
Probably some variation on a modern AU? It's so interesting to explore how characters' motivations and histories and actions can translate into various settings, and there are So Many options to explore! It's hard to narrow things down within there, and role-swap AUs are Also delightful 👀 especially, if I'm just trying to maximize angst potential 😄

Long Live but it’s so hard to choose because every song has its unique meaning and no matter what you need you’ll always find a song which fits.
Long Live because it shows how far she’s come and I admire everything about it (like how it’s about her band and her fans and all of that, I just really love this song)

Hey! I’m pretty new to the eruri fandom and I really wanted to get your opinion. I shipped eruri right off the bat, they’re relationship is beautiful, raw and complex. I was 100% sure they would be one of the biggest ships (plus now I’ve read around about the manga and author I’m down to say it seems practically canon 😅). But I’m baffled by ereri being popular? As a newbie I may be wrong but it seems like they don’t have much of a relationship is it crack? Is there more in the manga?
As a disclaimer: I honestly don’t care what other people ship- it’s their right, I’m not going to judge them, and they should enjoy what they want (even if it’s Zevi). This is fandom, it’s supposed to be fun!
First, I agree with everything you’ve said about Eruri, and I’m glad you’re enjoying the ship! Also, Eruri is a very popular ship, I’d be willing to say it’s one of the most popular among the fandom.
All this being said, Ereri is probably the most popular ship in SNK. Now, since I don’t personally ship it everything that follows is really just speculation as to a few reasons for this…
In the past many Ereri shippers were “anime-only” and had not read the manga. Erwin has a pretty small part in the anime, so it makes sense that seeing the relationship between Levi and Erwin wouldn’t be easy if you haven’t read the manga (or seen ACWNR, etc).
Also, Eren is ostensibly the main character in SNK. It’s perfectly natural for the main character to be popular and shipped with all of the people. Levi is continuously ranked as one of the most popular characters as well, so putting your favorite characters together makes sense.
On top of that, Eren is young and has a POV that many people can relate to. They can put themselves in his shoes- he’s discovering a cruel world and doing his best by his friends in it. He’s not cunning and charming like Erwin, he’s not built up a cold exterior like Levi. He wears his emotions on his sleeve and always has. Now, some of this has changed after the timeskip, but I don’t think we’re really used to “new Eren” yet and I don’t think his characterization has changed much in fanworks yet either. Eren is a really good self-insert character if you can relate to him, so he makes good shipping material.
As for the canon thing…I think ever shipper wants to see their ship as “more canon” and everyone enjoys the canon interactions of their favored pairing. There is a relationship between Eren and Levi in the manga. To me, it’s one of a mentor and a young soldier who looks up to said mentor. Others may interpret it differently. The same could be said for Erwin and Levi. To me, the subtle gestures, the way they speak when alone, their trust and loyalty, their shared experiences, and how much they confide in and rely on each other are obvious and reinforce the things I believe about the ship. To other people, it may just look like two men with a close working relationship who have supported each other as war comrades and respect each other. So, I wouldn’t say Ereri is a totally “crack” ship. Maybe Kenny Ackerman and Kiyomi Azumabito- I think I can safely say that’s a crack ship (i.e. they have little/no canon interaction).
But, again, all of this is just me. I’m sure if you ask someone who ships Ereri they’ll be much more equipped to point out the things in the manga that reinforce their ship.
In the end, shipping isn’t really a rational thing. You ship what you like. Maybe you like a pairing because they’re tragic and have a beautiful shared backstory. Maybe you like them because an artist made art that you loved. Maybe you ship them because you just really love a certain character and want them to get laid as much as possible. Ship what you like!

who is unfairly hated: a lot of girl characters. Because come on, they’re not bad, they are just drawn that way ! (aka stupid fanservice-y) (and even then, not a lot of them)
who is unfairly loved: Not really unfairly, but I think a lot of the flack Sain gets by throwing himself at anyone’s head could be directed at Priscilla too, because she can be clingy and gets a lot of pairings. But eh. To each their own.
