Our hike up the Maderas volcano on Ometepe! 8 hour hike top to bottom, the highest point is just under 1,400m. The top eco-system is a cloud forest, so the last couple hours we were walking in the clouds! While it made for a nice cool hike, everything was dripping with water and it was quite muddy. The view was pretty much a wall of clouds at the top, but half way up there were still some nice views!
